Privacy policy
We never sell your data.
What we collect when you visit this site or get in touch, why we collect it, who helps us run the site, and the choices you have. In plain words.

Who we are
The Amplification Machine ("we", "us", "our") is a design and technology studio based in Florida, in the United States. This policy covers this website, theamplificationmachine.com. For any question about your privacy, or to make a request, email [email protected].
The short version
- We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical information every website receives.
- We use it to reply to you, to do the work you ask for, and to keep the site running and safe.
- We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- We set no advertising or tracking cookies. If we use Google Analytics, it runs only after you allow it.
What we collect
What you send us
When you use the contact form, you give us your name, your email address and, if you choose, your business name, the services you are interested in and a message. The form also notes which page you sent it from. When you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you write and the address or number you write from.
What your browser sends
Like every website, ours receives standard technical information when a page loads: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page that sent you here, and the time. Our hosting provider uses it to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks and abuse.
Visit counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and measures how fast pages load. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
Analytics, only if you allow it
We may use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful. It runs only after you allow it, in the notice that asks you or in "Privacy choices" at the bottom of every page. When it runs, it uses cookies to recognize a returning visit and collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your approximate location (city or region), and your device and browser. We set it up for measurement only: Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.
The camera in the Labs
The demos in the Labs can use your camera to follow your hand, only after you press "Turn on camera". The video is processed on your own device: it is never uploaded, saved or recorded. To run the hand tracking, your browser downloads the tracking software from jsDelivr and Google's model storage. Those services receive an ordinary download request (your IP address and browser), never your video.
Settings kept on your device
The site remembers a few choices in your own browser, such as your accessibility settings and your privacy choices. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and send you a quote.
- To plan and deliver the work you hire us for, and to keep our business records.
- To understand which pages help people, and to improve the site.
- To keep the site secure, stop spam and abuse, and fix problems.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who helps us run the site
We share personal information only with the companies that help us run the site and the studio, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and the cookieless visit counts.
- Web3Forms: delivers the contact form to our inbox.
- Google Workspace: our email.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only if you message us there.
- Google Analytics: only if you allow analytics.
- jsDelivr and Google: the hand tracking download in the Labs, described above.
Each of them handles information under its own privacy policy. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy would still protect it.
We do not sell or share it for advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and give you a clear way to opt out.
Cookies
The site works without cookies, and it sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and similar) are set only if you allow analytics. You can change your choice at any time from "Privacy choices" at the bottom of every page, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser's settings.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out: analytics stays off, and the site does not ask you about it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and project information for as long as we need them to answer you, do the work and keep proper business records, and for as long as the law requires. Then we delete them. Our form provider keeps a copy of form messages for a limited time under its own policy. If we collect analytics, it is kept for no more than 14 months.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask for a copy. You can also tell us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, the law may give you more rights, for example under California's privacy law or, if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, under the GDPR.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will reply within the time the law sets, we may ask you to confirm who you are first, and we will never treat you differently for asking. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for businesses and adults. It is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), we keep access to messages and project files limited, and we work with established providers. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.
Where information is handled
We are based in the United States, and the companies that help us may handle information in the United States and in other countries. When you use the site or contact us, your information may be handled there, with the protections described in this policy.
Other websites
Links to other services, such as WhatsApp, Instagram or LinkedIn, take you to places we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top, and we will make important changes clear on the site.
